User manual Ilum Mobile app

ILUM Mobile - app for accessing equipment, reports and registering samples
Manual (version 1.2)

Log in with your existing username and password. If you do not have these, you must register from the app and wait until we have assigned an account to you. If you have a Microsoft user (SSO), it is important that we have registered the same email address in our system

The home screen shows a summary of the latest samples that have been analysed and reported

The menu is displayed by tapping the hamburger menu in the top left corner.

Registering samples
Option 1 - Register Sample button at the bottom right or in the menu
Option 2 - Browse to a machine and sampling point, register a sample
Creating a new machine/unit for sampling points that do not exist in the database

Option 1 - Register samples using the button at the bottom right or in the menu

The Register Sample menu. Here you have two options: either scan the supplied QR code attached to the bottle using your phone's camera, or enter this number manually (this is the link between the sample and the information)

After the bottle has been registered, you can use the camera to recognise the tag number (sampling point ID) if it is registered with Invicta. If you are sampling a unit that does not exist in the database, you must create it using the plus sign (+)

If you get a correct match, select it and further options are presented. If you get no match, you should narrow the search. For example, if you searched for TA551591, the new search should be 591

All samples are linked to a component, which in turn belongs to a machine.

Select the component by tapping it, then choose Register Sample

Then fill in as much information as possible and tap Next. Finish by tapping Complete Registration.

Option 2 - Browse to a machine or sampling point, register a sample

Search for machines or components in the database using the Search function. You can also browse the group by selecting a Group and tapping Search Machines.

You will then get matches on machines, but you must again select a machine component (or create a new component for the machine)

If you select a component, the next screen gives you the option to tap Register Sample.

Creating a new machine/unit for sampling points that do not exist:

Select the plus sign (+) if you are in a search window

Create/Edit Machine (fields in red must be filled in), then select Next to continue

The sample is not fully registered until you receive a confirmation. The Save function stores the information so you can retrieve it again yourself.
